Beyonce's Coaching Tools

You may remember that Beyonce is one of my mojo idols. 

When one can channel their inner Beyonce (or Sacha Fierce!) some epic shit can get done. 

Well, a few weeks ago, I was coaching a client on her relationship with a man who wasn’t treating her with the respect that she deserved. 

My client wanted more of a commitment from him, and he continually failed to show up for her at crucial moments when she needed him. 

As I was listening to her, the Beyonce song “Irreplaceable” popped into my head. You know the one-“To the left, to the left- everything you own in a box to the left”. Being an intuitive coach, this kind of thing happens to me all the time and I share these intuitive blips with certain clients if I think they could be helpful. 

A few minutes later, my client told me of her partner’s jealousy about a man who had just asked her out. 

New Beyonce song this time…”if you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it, don’t be mad when you see that he want it, if you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it, oh, oh, oh.” 

Of course, because it’s me- and I have a sass mouth- I sang these little hooks to her. 

She burst out laughing, realizing that I still saw her as the spunky woman that she had forgotten herself to be.  

You knew that Beyonce is known for songs about female empowerment- but who knew that she’s the mastermind behind some awesome coaching tools on a virtual cornucopia of topics?
